Home!
Here's a one-minute doodle:
I'm back home for the holidays. It's nice to see that some things never change.
That's me in 5th grade (and pretty much today...)

Art Sale Photos!
Here are a few more art sale photos!
The painting is actually by Gwen Comings! I posed for it awhile back and it was awesome to see it in the main gallery at MCAD! I believe it's about...5 or 6 feet wide. Anyways, it's large. And, in my humble opinion, very beautiful. And I'm not just saying that because it's of me.

You know what I LOVE?
Seeing my art up in other peoples houses!!
Thanks Alison for posting up photos of some pieces she bought from me from the MCAD art sale up on her blog <-link!
YAY! Thanks! Please visit her blog to see more photos (also, her blogs pretty cool).
Also, THIS adorable video features my poster on the side! Cooooool!
My old version of the princess poster (the screenprinted one...I should really make more of those) is hanging up at Ed's adorable and affordable apartment in Chicago! He also has two little paintings I did propped up against the window.
I had totally forgotten about those until now!

For Hannah
I was going to wait to post these, but I figured I'll do them now while I have the time.
First, some more watercolors doodles. The one with the old lady was supposed to be wrapped by a dog with no head, just two tails, but I don't think it's clear.
And then here is Edward Cullen from Twilight in celebration of seeing New Moon later tonight!
Notice his single tear and the crazy fan in the background. I'm soooo excited to see this movie and will definitely be drinking throughout the whole movie. My next drawing should be of a Minneapolis Public Bus. Thanks ahead of time for the ride home!

Weird Day
Today I had a shot of espresso with a dollop of foam. It was very tasty but caused a little bit of a caffeine rush. Here's some drawings that I did while I was jittery.
Dunno what this one's about. Have fun thinking about it though!
Here are some ladies from lookbook.nu, a fashion website that has some pretty fun outfits on it.

ETSY!
So I HAVE been drawing but I'm in Branson so no scanner! Instead I have been getting a head start on christmas shopping for my family and friends and I've been browsing my favorite online shop: Etsy! I really love this website, it's such an easy place to discover new artists and some of the art is really affordable and cool!
Here's some really cool shops I think people might be interested in checking out!
White Elephant Collective
They have really cute designs here and this robot wallet is my favorite. Only 8 bucks too!
Elista
UHG! So pretty! The shop is full of affordable prints of original papercuts!
Derrick Velasquez
I just think these journals are lovely. I'm digging how many colors they come in!
Erik Krenz
WHAT! Yes! Erik Krenz has an Etsy! And his work is always awesomeeeeee!
That's all. I have some piece for sale in the ART SALE this weekend and I'm pretty excited about hopefully selling somethings!

The Boy and the Rat
Here's some illustrations I did for the art sale. They're 4x6 so very small! Ideas on how much I should charge for them (they'll be in a small glass frame) would be appreciated!
I imagine it's a story about a boy who travels with a rat to the underworld...for some reason. Anyways, I'M REALLY DIGGING THEM! Hope everyone else likes them too!

Sunday, October 25, 2:00-4:00 PM
I will try to be there after the panel, but will probably be late. :(
UHG! so text heavy!! I've been working on stuff for the MCAD Art Sale and some logos for my little sister's radio station at her University (get ready to see some rocking unicorns!)
For now all I have is this baby drawing on vellum which I took a photo of:
Anyways, these types of babies are really fun for me to draw but this one is REALLY REALLY creeping me out and I can't toss it, and I can't just shove it in a drawer somewhere (its a baaabbyyyy!) so hopefully maybe one of my loyal readers will want it? So it can stop haunting my desk....:(

After FallCon
I had a BLAST at FallCon last weekend! Thank you for everyone who came by and said hi! I made some awesome trades and met some super cool people!
My newest poster, which was being sold there, is now up on my ETSY <--link!
Along with the new poster I also sold a mini comic featuring Penny and Kim. It features four awkward stories about them, here is the first. There are still some left if anyone didn't grab a copy and still wants one, let me know!
If adolescence has taught me anything, it's that nothing can cheer me up like someone else's misery. Still true today.

FallCon!
FallCon is this weekend! I have a table which I'll be sharing with Evan Palmer and Christina Beard! Yayaya!
For sale I'll have my senior project, The Pure Bones, a few copies of The Princess Book (only a few so if you've been wanting to get some, get some NOW! I'm not sure I'll be making any more!), and the princess poster.
Some new work that I'll have will be four new short stories featuring Penny and Kim, awkward pre-teens on the verge of true teen-dom and all it entails (zits, boys, awkward conversations with parents).
I will also have a new poster, similar to the princess one, but featuring wild girls instead! They're chewing meat, waving around daggers, getting into fights, living off berries in the woods. Hopefully people will get as much of a kick out of them as I do!
FallCon is Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 am at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds! More info here: http://midwestcomicbook.com
It's been super nice being busy this past week! It takes my mind off the looming fact I still don't have a job...
