Amazon!
So I recently remembered that I had a book for sale up on Amazon. I don't know why I forgot about it, it was a lot of work to get it up on there, but now I remember so it's all good.
It's The Princess Book, which some will remember from my first hand-sewn version and how I said I'll never print it again because it was a giant pain in the ass. But after talking with someone else who printed through Amazon's Create Space I decided to give it a try. I'm pretty happy with the result and have been ordering copies and selling them at conventions but it just occured to me that anyone can buy it, from anywhere, off Amazon.
Now when you search my name on Amazon, two books come up! So Much Sky is a collection of stories about the author, Karen Weir-Jimerson's, life on a farm that I did some illustrations for. It's a fun book and I recommend it!
And now The Princess Book, which you can now own for a mere fifteen dollars! While the first edition has a special place in my heart, this version can withstand multiple readings and looks super nice and has a spine!
Pretty snazzy!!

Vellum
More vellum drawings. Drawn while listening tranced to the new Future Islands CD. Pretty much amazing. I'm continually drawn to music with deep rough voices like this band. Name your favorite gruff-voiced, lyric-centric, band!

There was one more panel/page to this but now I don't think it works, and I like the last bit as an end. HMMM.

Baba Yaga
Here are some witches that I've been drawing.
MIX was this weekend and it was basically fantastic. I met some really awesome people and discovered some amazing comics/cartoonists. Maybe I'll talk about it further later, but for now, witches.

Frances
Here is some fan art I made featuring Frances from Jillian Tamaki's SuperMutant Magic Academy, an awesome series of comics if you haven't already seen them.
(click it to see it larger, I think it looks better that way)
Frances is by far my favorite character and now that I think about it, I should have added a cigarette. I was instantly drawn to her triangle-hair and the bags under her eyes. But THIS comic sold it for me. I'm in love!

The Offering
HEY GUYS!
So here are some random pages from my newest comic, The Offering. It's 20 pages and will be debuting at this years Zinefest!!
Here's the details about Zinefest:
This Saturday (the 24th)
Powderhorn Park Building
3400 15th Ave S Minneapolis
12-5!
I'm pretty excited about this comic, it had a fast turn-around and feels nice and loose and was really easy to work on. I think this will be the style that I'll be working on in future comics from now on. PLUS this comic features everything I want to draw! A grotesque baby! An old woman stealing a kiss from a young girl! Innocence lost! Rebirth! Etc!
I'll post more pictures soon. I'll probably upload the whole comic up on my website but that may take awhile.

The Garden
I made this for The Soap Factory $99 Art Sale. The show is curated this year and I was able to participate thanks to an invite from MIX! Tickets to the event can be bought online and I expect it to be a grand time. And if someone wants this piece, you can buy it there!

Doodles
Here's some poorly scanned in watercolor doodles. I haven't really figured out a way to scan watercolors without them become really wonky.

Sketches
I thought my scanner was broken. And for awhile it was, until it magically fixed itself! Hopefully it'll stay healthy and will continue to let my scan things forever.
Here's a pile or sketches, warm ups, and practice drawings.
