I'm excited! It reminds me of SES and my internship, and it always makes me happy when youngsters have an interest in art.
ALSO ON SUNDAY
MPLS Indie Expo is holding an informal meeting on Sunday to discuss the creating of a new comic con here in Minneapolis. They are asking for input, questions, volunteers, and the like.
Details:
Sweeney's Saloon Wine Bar (to the left of main entry)
96 N. Dale St, St. Paul
Sunday, October 25, 2:00-4:00 PM
I will try to be there after the panel, but will probably be late. :(
UHG! so text heavy!! I've been working on stuff for the MCAD Art Sale and some logos for my little sister's radio station at her University (get ready to see some rocking unicorns!)
For now all I have is this baby drawing on vellum which I took a photo of:
Anyways, these types of babies are really fun for me to draw but this one is REALLY REALLY creeping me out and I can't toss it, and I can't just shove it in a drawer somewhere (its a baaabbyyyy!) so hopefully maybe one of my loyal readers will want it? So it can stop haunting my desk....:(

After FallCon
I had a BLAST at FallCon last weekend! Thank you for everyone who came by and said hi! I made some awesome trades and met some super cool people!
My newest poster, which was being sold there, is now up on my ETSY <--link!
Along with the new poster I also sold a mini comic featuring Penny and Kim. It features four awkward stories about them, here is the first. There are still some left if anyone didn't grab a copy and still wants one, let me know!
If adolescence has taught me anything, it's that nothing can cheer me up like someone else's misery. Still true today.

FallCon!
FallCon is this weekend! I have a table which I'll be sharing with Evan Palmer and Christina Beard! Yayaya!
For sale I'll have my senior project, The Pure Bones, a few copies of The Princess Book (only a few so if you've been wanting to get some, get some NOW! I'm not sure I'll be making any more!), and the princess poster.
Some new work that I'll have will be four new short stories featuring Penny and Kim, awkward pre-teens on the verge of true teen-dom and all it entails (zits, boys, awkward conversations with parents).
I will also have a new poster, similar to the princess one, but featuring wild girls instead! They're chewing meat, waving around daggers, getting into fights, living off berries in the woods. Hopefully people will get as much of a kick out of them as I do!
FallCon is Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 am at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds! More info here: http://midwestcomicbook.com
It's been super nice being busy this past week! It takes my mind off the looming fact I still don't have a job...

Clothes
It's Fall! And what I wear shows it as such. And for those that don't know, biking in the cold/rain SUCKS.
