Mary Stuart Opera

I had the opportunity recently to watch and sketch the Minnesota Opera's Mary Stuart. The costumes were fantastic, the music was awesome, and I was able to sit and draw with a bunch of awesome cartoonists.

Here's some of my sketches!

See the other awesome sketches done that night HERE!!

Kings Cup Rules

A little doodle that I can print out and hang up so the next time I play Kings Cup I don't have to struggle with remembering all the rules. Easy!

Upcoming things!

A couple of months ago I swore I'd never do another wedding invitation. They can be really stressful to work on and brides seem to be teetering on the edge of insanity. But people keep getting married and I keep doing invitations for friends! Oh well!

This is for my best friend Kara Goodness! Front and back (click to read it)

ALSO. I have created a poster for Robots From The Future and their upcoming show on February 18th at Memory Lanes! I will be going and will probably be focusing more on whiskey sours than bowling.

Other people should come so we can listen to some sweet tunes and discuss everyones favorite beverage to drink while bowling!!

Moonbaby and more

For the art sale, I sold a small series of drawings featuring women carrying large rocks with faces on them (I called the rocks moonbabies). I drew some more sketches of these Moonbabies.

Here's some doodles of me.

And here is a doodle of U.P.S. The Useless Psychic Society, a soon-to-be collaboration comic between Hannah, Tristan, Erik and I.

New Years

New years resolutions written and printed out accompanied by a goofy sketch. It's hanging in my kitchen now.

Gosh.

So it's been awhile since I've posted. BUT IT'S 2011!!! NEW START!
I uploaded a blog post at Itchy Keen if you wanna read a little bit about what the new year means to me.

Madison Zinefest

A few weeks ago was Madison Zinefest!
I didn't have any new comics but did have a new collaboration with Tristan Jimerson, called 5 Unsent Love Letters. He wrote five fictional letters and I did a small illustration for each one.

I also debuted my first set of temporary tattoos!! Above is me wearing one! This was super fun and they turned out pretty well. They came in a bunch of designs (some old illustrations, some wild girls, a Teddy Roosevelt drawing by Evan Palmer) along with some new drawings as well.
